Description

Before there were parenting blogs, trophies for showing up and peanut allergies, there was a simpler time called the ‘80s. For geeky 11-year-old Adam (Sean Giambrone), these were his wonder years, and he faced them armed with a video camera to capture all the crazy. The Goldbergs are a loving family like any other -- just with a lot more yelling.

Adams voice literally ruins everything. It almost makes my ears bleed. Too bad, great show before he hit the most awkward puberty ever. Fail!
  • A Chorus Liew was awful!

I really enjoy the series, but the episode, "A Chorus Lie" was filled with inaccuracies that make the show, set in the 80s" unbelievable. In the 80s, girls did not call each other, "dude." In the 80s, boys did not say "balls," when something was wrong ... especially to a teacher. The Milli Vanilli scandal at the center of this episode did not happen until late 1990. And cassette decks do not skip, as shown by Beverly, to mock the Milli Vanilli scandal when their backing track skipped during a concert. So much wrong in one episode. Did the creator read the script? Is there no one on staff that remembers the 80s?!? It takes the fun out of the show.
  • Fun show and great cast.
