The Emmy Award-winning series returns for its 38th season, themed "Edge of Extinction.” This edition features 18 castaways divided into two equal tribes, The Manu Tribe and The Kama Tribe. Four returning players join the 14 castaways who are competing for the first time. The returning castaways are Joe Anglim (“Worlds Apart,” “Second Chance”), Aubry Bracco (“Kaoh Rong,” “Game Changers”), Kelley Wentworth (“Second Chance,” “San Juan del Sur”) and David Wright (“Millennials vs. Gen-X”). This season presents a new layer to the game with the introduction of the island known as “Edge of Extinction,” which severely tests the will of the castaways to be the Sole Survivor and what they are willing to endure to make that happen. Those who can withstand the emotionally and physically difficult challenge will be afforded a shot at one of them to get back in the game and continue their quest for $1 million.

  • Late Episode Release

I live in Japan and Survivor is my favorite show. I pay for the episode so I can watch a quality product. It is now Friday, the season is over and I find out the results through a Reality Blurred Facebook post. Took the total enjoyment from my favorite show. Thanks for the horrible job. BigAllen

  • Don’t blame the show!

Why give the show a low rating because the network releases the episodes later than it should? That’s a terrible decision for CBS to make, but this show is consistently awesome!!!!
  • iTunes are killing the show fans with their delays

Like seriously it’s been 29 hours since the episode aired and yet iTunes fails to release the episode, are you serious step up your game or people are switching

Why is there so much delay for each episode? I thought they are released on Friday, but ended up on Sunday instead
  • CBS - cable is dead

Start treating season pass customers better. Release the episodes already. I have enough meetings in my life, don’t need one with my tv. ‘Generally, television networks provide Apple with the latest episode of each show within 24 hours of the episode airing in your particular country. Occasionally, there can be a delay, and release dates can vary. If an episode has aired and continues to remain unavailable, you will need to contact the television network.’ ~ Apple Support

I purchased the season pass and the episodes take forever to upload. I want my money back. Love the show hate iTunes
  • Slow, Slow, Slow

Why do the episode always come out on time with Amazon, but iTunes is incapable of releasing episodes on a remotely sensible schedule? I’ve now paid for 2 season passes (one on iTunes originally, and now on Amazon)... Just so I can watch this show. It’s 2019... Come on.
